Statewide Strategic Initiative

A Data-Driven Approach for Supporting Entrepreneurship & Innovation Through the Next Decade

The Missouri Technology Corporation (MTC) is an essential asset that has been driving economic development through entrepreneurship in Missouri over the last decade. For Missouri to continue to maximize the economic development gains, MTC will be leading Statewide efforts to determine the most impactful ways to promote entrepreneurship and support the advancement of innovation and technology to continue to drive economic growth through the next decade. This effort is being guided by 16-person steering committee with representatives from around the state.

MTC has hired TEConomy Partners, a global leader in research, analysis and strategy for innovation-driven economic development to create a data-driven action plan that will allow MTC to continue to support and grow the State’s entrepreneurial- focused ecosystems.

This effort has an anticipated timeline of one year with the delivery of the final Strategic Plan occurring in Spring 2022.
