The award-winning Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a service-oriented business incubator connecting industry and academics which offers state-of-the-art research facilities, a commercial analytical lab, and tailored support for business acceleration.

The Center has two synergistic components: a mixed-use incubator and an academic facility. The incubator is designed to house several start-up companies; the academic facility has been programmed to house the nanotechnology baccalaureate degree program.

The CIE contains a state-of-the-art analysis lab and offers contract R&D and drug discovery work in the analysis of biological and environmental samples for pharmaceuticals, metabolites/biomarkers, personal care products, chemical, elemental and environmental pollutants and more.
