MOSourceLink
The state of Missouri has a network of hundreds of government, nonprofit and educational organizations that support emerging and existing business owners with business growth. MOSourceLink connects this network together through one portal giving entrepreneurs and business owners easy access to the resources that they need to succeed.
Missouri Technology Incentive Program (MOTIP)
The Missouri Technology Incentive Program (MOTIP) provides funding to support entrepreneurs who are pursuing federal Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer grant funding. MOTIP offers $5,000 Phase 0 grants to assist with the costs of preparing and submitting Phase I grant applications and bridge loans of up to $50,000 for Phase I grantees pursuing a Phase II grant.
Intellectual Property Management Fund
The Intellectual Property Management Fund provides low interest loans of up to $15,000 for companies to assist with the costs of securing patent protection for their intellectual property.
Angel Investor Network Program
MTC has awarded grants to four Missouri angel investment groups to enhance the availability of angel investments to support startup companies in Columbia, Lee’s Summit, Springfield, and St. Louis.
Missouri Venture Partners
Missouri Venture Partners (MVP) is an early stage seed capital venture fund, focused on closing the gap between angel and larger venture capital funding. MVP works at the early stages of commercial technology development and partners with larger venture capital firms who fund companies later in the commercial pipeline.
Ag-Biotech Recruitment Fund
The Ag Biotech Recruitment Fund is a vehicle to recruit and retain agriculture biotechnology companies through grants, low-interest loans. convertible debt and direct equity investments in companies moving to Missouri.
University of Missouri Technology Park at Fort Leonard Wood
The University of Missouri Technology Park at Fort Leonard Wood is the first technology park in the nation to be located on an active Army post. The 62-acre park was developed by the University of Missouri and the Missouri Department of Economic Development through the Missouri Technology Corporation. The University of Missouri Technology Park mission is to provide a location on Post to businesses, agencies and organizations that support or enhance the missions, activities and strategic goals of Fort Leonard Wood. MRP Business Center provides the link that local and national companies need to connect with Army decision makers.
